On Tuesday September 11, our world changed forever. The United States
was attacked by an unknown terrorist organization. Word of this attack
spread
instantaneously around the world. Billions of people woke up on
September 12
to find that the front page of their local newspaper was devoted to the tragedy
of the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. Andrews McMeel Publishing in
conjunction
with The Poynter Institute, a school for journalists, presents
September 11, 2001, a collection of 150 front pages of major newspapers
throughout the world.
The net profits earned by Andrews McMeel Publishing and the

11th and Beyond - A Deeper Understanding A message from amazon.com
In the wake of the still-unthinkable disasters of September 11,
Amazon.com customers have been seeking
books that will provide information, understanding, and solace. In
response, Amazon.com's editorial staff has
assembled some books we think might be helpful. These lists are by no
means comprehensive--they're just a
suggested starting point. Our hope is that they can help provide a
deeper understanding of the complex,
interconnected issues surrounding the September 11 tragedies and their
aftermath.
September11News.com,
in association with amazon.com, are offering a commemorative
book of President George W. Bush's address to Congress on September 20,
2001.
